Yamaha 525ypg LCD 1/2 screen gone blank

after installing the driver(win XP) from the cdrom which came with the keyboard, and connecting the keyboard via usb to my pc, the right side of the LCD appears blank. The functions, voices, files and recordings are all still in tact, but I can't navigate the menu as 1/2 of the screen is blank. Any ideas?
