Personally I have never heard of a virus in a keyboard but suppose it is possible. My knowledge is very limited with these things.
A general reboot for most Yamaha keyboards is done by holding down the highest WHITE key while you power up the keyboard.
A factory RESET is done by holding down that same WHITE key + the nearest 3 BLACK keys while powering up.
This factory reset will normally ERASE everything in the USER area but brings the keyboard back to the situation as it was when it left the factory.
I would try option 1 first and if you are connected to other stuff, like a computer, disconnect it and find out what is doing the bad things.
Please let us know if this solves your problem so we all can learn from it.
Good luck

virus???? by: Dick Rector
Hi Prasanth,
I doubt you have a virus in the PSR 3000, NEVER heard of it.
If you read the other comment I have given, you know how to reboot (Factory reset) you keyboard.
If that doesn't help try to describe the problem and we might find a solution.

virus???? by: Dick Rector
Hi Sexer,
I am afraid you are not correct here, in the types of keyboards described yes, very unlikely a virus but in the bigger boys with a sort of operating system it could be possible to have an ill-minded person to 'create' something nasty.
