Using the Keyboard Styles

I am unable to get my piano to change chords when I set a style to play with the music. I have tried with full keyboard and chord options. I've watched the video and read the manual and it still will not change when I press a new note. I know it must be something simple that I'm not doing.

Dear Joanne: Is there a Button or Control which says "ACCOMP"? If so, activate it, then try playing the Chords normally. Please let us know what happens. Thanks for contacting this Forum.

No chord change

Hi Joanne,

It would have helped if you had mentioned what type keyboard you have.

I think you have to look up the 'fingering' method and the 'splitpoint' for the accomp part. Together with Alfreds advice about the accomp button.
Do you have the problem will all styles?
Are you using an 'onboard' style or is the problem with an imported one?
Try also to do a 'mild' reset.
Power up the keyboard while pressing down the highest key. That brings you back to a default setting and than try again to play the style.
