Using Local off on the PSR-170

Dear madam/sir

I have a question. Can I change the local on setting to Local OFF on the PSR170 ? And if so, could you guide me through the process of changing this setting?
I'm having some problems using this feature in a sequencer, so I wannna change is to Local off.
