Usb drivers for Windows Xp

I can't open the usb drivers from my instructional cd that came with my DGX-230. I want to make midi files from Mp3 files and upload the files to my DGX-230 keyboard.Please Help.

MP3 to midi???

Hi Tollie,

For drivers go to: yamaha.comp/download/index and find the drivers you are looking for.

However, MP3 to midi is not possible unless you have a studio with the right and expensive equipment.
MP3 and WAV are soundfiles and look at the size of each file. On a normal CD 20 to 40 files maybe.
If it was midi many hundreds!!!
you can't transfer that big file into a little midifile.
Midi is NOT sound but a stream of computer-commands, these are telling your keyboard what key, what instrument(voice),how long, how loud etc. to make a certain sound.
The other way around, midi to MP3 or WAV is yes possible and quite easy and FREE.
If you want to know how, come back to this forum otherwise this file gets to long.

what kind of usb cable are you using because i cant seem to find one.
