UPGRADE FROM YAMAHA PSR-275

My son wants to change his Yamaha Keyboard, a PSR-275 to a better one, ideally with memory. He was told to get a PSR-1000 but it doesn't seem to be available anymore. Is the PSR-S550 of the similar standard to PSR-1000? Your helps would be appreciated. Please either reply here or jacky50499@yahoo.com.hk.
