Transfer user songs from YAMAHA PSR I-425 to PC
Download Audasity (free). Plug 1/4 inch jack into headphone jack on keyboard get 1/4 to 1/8 adapter and plug into line-in in back of computer. Start Audasity, new song, enable monitor input,This way you can set volume levels, right side of screen. If you play the song on keyboard and here it out of your computer speakers your good to go. Click record button on Aud. start song on keyboard and record, make sure you shut off record after song is done, the program will record forever if you don't. Under file, export (save) as wav or mp3 ur done. Memories of your son forever. Have fun.

Download from PSR I425 to PC by: Anonymous
I am able to download the music part (the piano sound) into the PC using MIDI into Garage Band. However the accompany sound and the sound of the drums (rhythm) does not get downloaded. Any idea how I can get all sounds to download so that I can post in youtube or use in I movies or something?

Use audasity, it is a free download and it works. Thats all I use to transfer the songs from the keyboard to the PC.

It is Audacity.
You can use Mixcraft and FL Studio as well but they are not free

Hello!
I have a keybord bontepi 695. The thing is that I cannot transform my recorded music to PC. I tried with Audasity but it does not seem to work, what should I do?

transferring the actual user song by: Jon W.
I normally use the method of recording onto audacity, but I'd rather transfer the actual user song file onto the computer...I'm just clueless on this! I couldn't find out at all anywhere how to actually do that. I downloaded the USB MIDI driver and I have the musicsoft software. The only file I could see on the keyboard though was the backup files, and I already have about 3 user recordings stored on the keyboard.
Is it possible at all to transfer the actual song to the computer? Without involving recording the playback on Audacity?
