Tempo Change - Yamaha Motif 6

I was recently recording an original song on my Motif 6 at a tempo of around 52.5. But in the middle of playback, it switched to the maximum tempo all by itself, like there i a glitch in the playback system. How can I get it to stop doing that?

Dear Terrence: If you have any music recorded, transfer it to a Flash Stick, then try a "mild' reset, followed by a "Factory" Reset. Hope this helps.
