Technics KN700 Keyboard Floppy Drive Isn't Working

What can I do to get the floppy drive working again?

It tries to load my disks.

It makes the normal loading sounds.

But then the screen says there is a 'disk error'.

It will not load any of my old floppy disks.

By floppy I mean the old, obsolete, 3" wide hard disks.

Now a days devices which resembles exactly the size and connection ports of floppy disk ,which uses usb device connectivity are available....but You won,t get the same branded device as that of your keyboard, But it will work nicely....In Kerala (India)Its Price is about 3000 Rs to 4000 Rs ie (60 - 80$ approx).. So why wasting you time for repairing Floppy Drive ,Upgrade to USB drive....

How To Fix Floppy Drive Please

I need to fix the floppy drive.

The floppy drive is all I have.

This can not be upgraded.

This is an old keyboard.

I need the keyboard to play the information

I have on the floppy disks.

Only comments and suggestions on how to fix

a floppy drive please.
