Stand for Yamaha PF P-100

by Eddie V
(San Jose, CA)

Hello,

I currently have my P-100 standing on a PROLINE PL400 stand and, at its lowest height, I still find the keyboard way too high for proper form ( I have to lift my wrists in comparison to my elbows...!)

I'm considering actually drilling new holes so I can bring the stand lower...but I was actually curious if anyone out there had any suggestions of stand makers that work for their Clavinova PF P-100.

If possible please e-mail me at eavergara(at)gmail.com Thanks!

Eddie

Proline PL 400 Stand
by: Alfred

Dear Eddie: looking at a picture of the Proline PL400 prompts the question: "Is there enough space on the crescent plate (at "x" point) for any additional holes to be drilled so as to lower the overall height?" Also, it may sound like a joke, but have you thought of raising the bench on which you sit by adding a cushion or two?

Wrong height

Hi Eddie,

I had the same problem, just be a touch uncomfortable with the height. I used a round metal-file (if that is the right English word) and filed a littlebit of the metal from the holes.
No need to do much, one or two milimeter will lower the keyboard quite a bit.
