sonar and the Yamaha psr-530

by rubencerrato
(Sigutaepeque Honduras)

how can I access the first 200 sounds below the "panel voice" label. I am using Sonar 8. I can get sounds but are the GM sounds (general midi sounds) I would like to use piano sounds that to me they are just great. Thanks

XG voices?
by: Dick Rector

Hello Ruben,

I believe you want to have access to the unique Yamaha XG-voices on your keyboard?
I am not familiar with Sonar but if this program is not compatible with XG you can not get to these voices. Also if you use a non compatible with XG soundcard in your computer it is not possible to 'sound' XG-voices, only the GM-voices.

I am sure this is not making you happy but I hope it answers your question.

Regards
Dick
