Who I am : a driven, disciplined, talented singer songwriter ~should you join me, you would be becoming an integral equal part to a very unique and ornately detailed, very focused, eclectic vast musical vision. You can hear our last CD "she was a spicy she wolf " here: http://www.myspace.com/starlit Though I am very proud of this last CD, in every aspect, the next sound I wish to create is far more eclectic combining a variety of styles and genres I know well and have a passion for.I already have a full second CD in rough for the right person to add to and I also wish to create songs from scratch with whomever is the new member.I have immediate short term goals and long term goals as well. What I am looking for : I seek a real artist who loves music and has an eclectic knowledge of many different styles like myself as well as innovative and revolutionary abilities and fearless commitment. This is NOT for anyone who would treat music like a hobby. I am not seeking any 'hired help' . I would not ask a fellow co-creator/musician to pay me for my time and talent though I am deserving of pay so don't ask me to pay you. There are plenty of people out there who get "paid" to do music and churn out generic, crap music. First and foremost, this is about making monumental music. It is to be treated with the greatest respect. I have no intention, or desire to be "underground". Success, creatively AND financially is not only desired but anticipated. I am looking for a keyboardist/composer to equally contribute and equally help launch any songs created as well as split all costs and in-turn receive equal credits and any pay received for the songs. For the right person this music is to be ALL of ours in every aspect . You will need to have a recording facility or at the very least a way to record your ideas. You will need to have a passion and skill for many styles as we do , or at least have a great interest and easily learn various genres but most specifically -- industrial/new wave/electronica and EBM - 1940's big band, - vintage jazz and blues, film noir - world music: African, Celtic, Asian, Egyptian, Indian - classical music ALL of those styles are what I mix together and all are equally important I do not work with people who do drugs or have a drinking problem. I seek someone who is able to keep up with the pace -we work at of writing almost everyday on the band's songs alone, meeting with me at least once a week. I expect it to take about week to create a song, sometimes less, sometimes a few days more~I want to do things as quickly as possible yet we would never sacrifice quality ( everyone needs to be doing their part consistently), to record that song the following week. Any amount of work less than that is a joke or a hobby. I am very serious about what I do but we have a lot of fun doing it. Please read this ad carefully before answering .
