Silent notes on Yamaha NP 30

My Yamaha NP 30 has 5 notes that do not sound, top 3 E's and top 2 Bflat. Happened instantly, no spills etc. Any pointers? I'm an experienced electrical engineer & not too frightened at opening the unit to investigate, but would prefer an idea of what to look for!

contact pads??

Hi Keith,

Most likely a broken underlay-contact-pad.
Go to psrtutorial.com and look under psr3000.
There is a good article with pictures what I am talking about. Different model ok but it gives you an idea what the problem is.
Guessing of course.
