seamless voice changes

How can I change voices seamlessly with a live band?
I have various voice combinations on different settings, but I cannot suspend a sound while making a voice change. Everything comes to a halt. Is there a way to suspend a voice while changing to another sound, so I don't go silent for a moment.

Changing voices on the fly

Hi Nan,

You did not mentioned the model keyboard you are using but (and that is model depending) putting the different voices under the 4 ONE TOUCH knobs or the 8 REGISTRATION-MEMORY knobs will usually do the trick, you don't go to silent while playing and changing voices (or styles or whatever).

voice changes on Yamaha M08

my church has a M08. How can I make seamless voice changes on the M08? We play usually 4 - 5 songs, but right now, when we change voices it cuts the voice currently playing...

any suggestions?
