sustain peddle is functioning reversed. How can it be fixed?

Reversed sustain

Your pedal may have a switch. Turn off the keyboard and unplug the pedal. Move the switch and reconnect. If you don't have a switch there may be an option in the keyboard set up depending on which keyboard you're using.

Reversed Polarity on Sustain Pedal

This can happen if the power is swithed on before connecting the sustain pedal and it is simple to correct this by ensuring that the pedal is connected before switching on the power at the plug.I notice however that my new S900 has the facility to reverse polarity within it's menu.
