Yanaha YPG225/PSRE403 DVD
by: Alfred

There is a complement to the Owner's Manual. It is a DVD (YamahaYPG225/PSRE403, hosted by Josh Nyberg. In it Nyberg explains how to do what you ask. The DVD is available through Kraft Music of Franklin WI at 1 800 783 3368. Ask for Bob Rouse or Dave McCullough. Do this soon, as they have only five copies left as of 3/24/09. Hope this helps.

Which of the two posts solves the problem. Not remembering or buying the DVD?

I'm just saying
by: Charlie Hodge...

When I bought the keyboard, in the owners manuel, it stated that if, changing the levels by entering the "functions" mode, one could reset the machine to it's factory settings by turning it off and, before turning it on again, simply holding down certain keys while turning it on...and I just cant remember which keys one should hold down... thats all I'm asking: What keys do you hold while you turn it on which will reset the functions to the factory settings?...

Reset Faqctory Default PSR 403
by: Alfred

Dear Charlie: In tiny print, a footnote on page 84 (The Functions) of the Owner's Manual says:
"All these settings can be conveniently reset to their initial default values by pressing the [+]and [-] buttons simultaneously (The exception to this is Initial Send, which is an operation, not a setting)". If you cannot find your manual, download one free from the internet. The DVD I suggested presents alternate ways of arriving at resets. Good luck.

PSR E 403 Reset
by: Anonymous

Dear Charlie: I'm glad the info seems to have helped. I have not checked, but the last time I did, there were only 5 copies of the DVD left, and if you hsve a DVD player, and have downloaded the manual, buying the DVD will turn out to be an incredible addition and help. All the best.

Factory Default PSR E 403
by: Alfred

Dear Charlie: I owe you an apology. If you still have your Owner's Manual, the second half of page 56 shows what you were originally seeking.
It says that data backed up to the Flash Memory - panel user setting, registration memory, user songs, style file 156 - are cleared by turning the power on while holding down the highest white key.
Further it says that song data and style files which have been transferred to the internal flash memory from the computer are cleared by turning the power on while simultaneously holding down the highest white key and the three highest black keys.
Overlooked this info and only found it now with more time to read the manual.
