Replacing an adapter for a PSR 240

by Scott
(Colorado)

How do I find a replacement adapter for a PSR 240? The original adapter reads

Lo Duca
AC - DC ADAPTER
Model 3780
Input: 120V AC 60 Hz 15W
Output: 10V DC
Current: CD 700 mA MAX

Will all Lo Duca models with the model number 3780 work as a replacement for a PSR 240?

Thank you!

Replacement Adaptor for PSR 240
by: Alfred

Dear Scott: To answer your question, unless the manufacturer of the original Adaptor has introduced some extraordinary changes, the Lo Duca Model 3780 Adaptor will work with your Keyboard. However, here’s a standard guide when buying ANY ADAPTOR:
Adhere to Input spec; Never exceed the DC Output spec; Current spec can be exceeded as the receiving Unit (Keyboard) will only draw whatever it needs. From this you can gather that the adaptor need not be a Lo Duca, and if I were you, I’d look at Ebay listings where you might find the exact Lo Duca or other adaptor to continue enjoying your PSR 240.
