registering voice - Yamaha PSR I425

I have purchased a new Yamaha PSR I425. I am unable to save voice alone. It is always saved with style. I want to save voice only so that I may play this voice with diffrent styles as per my convenience on recalling this voice. That means Only voice should be recalled and not style but at the same time this voice should be playable with any style I choose at that time.
In fact whenever any registration is recalled, the style is also recalled . I should be able to freeze the saved style and instead be able to play this voice with any new style I want.

I have already posted this question but till date no reply. Pl help me

Hi there,

First of all I am not familiar with your model keyboard but you should be able to go 'VOICES' via a function button. Chose the voice you want, play it with the right hand. Save that voices in a user area and than pick the style you like. If the style comes with another voice, press the voice in the user area and you should have now the style AND voice of your choice available.
Your manual will tell you exactly the right procedure and wording.
Hope this helps you a bit in the right direction.
