Regarding playing midi files from USB flash drive

I have a DGX Yamaha portable grand 230 & I tried to play some downloaded SMF and GM files but it didn't even show up on the screen. I can't afford to purchase the Yamaha files. I'd just like to try some of the free sample midis. How & what sort of files do I load & how can I access them on my keyboard? It's urgent. Thanks

Hi Glenn,

If you go to psrtutorial.com you can download TONS of free midi's, styles and voices for free.

I don't know your keyboard but in some cases you have to load your midi's into a USER area first.
Also you have to look (special with voices) for the extension of the file-name. Is your keyboard able to recognize them?
