recording - Tyros 2

I am trying to record a score from my sibelius software via tyros 2. I want to use the tryos 2 sounds, not the computer sound card. What do i need to do?

Sibelius and the Tyros-2
by: Allen

Consider the following stages.

1. You will need a USB-2 link between your PC and the Tyros-2.

2. You will also need to download the software driver from the Yamaha website.

3. After the software driver has been installed, make the Yamaha the default MIDI instrument - you need to go through the CONTROL PANEL to do this task.

4. When you start Sibelius you need to select the Yamaha driver in the instrument settings - by clicking TEST you should hear the piano sounds on your Tyros-2.

Hope this is sufficient to get you going.

Tyros 2 and Sibelius
by: Anonymous

What version of Sibelius are you running?

I have developed patch files for Tyros 1

for Sibelius 2 and Sibelius 5.2.5

They will should work on T2 , you may need to modify them to get all the sounds.
