Dear "Anonymous": This is the way I have to address you, as you obviously forgot to enter your name when submitting your comments. The info you have submitted is really too scant to provide possible answers, but be it as it may, have the INPUT Jack for Headphones checked. It is designed to automatically cut off sound to your main speakers if and when using headphones. But there is also the possibility that it could be oxidized/shorted/stuck in the cut-off position. There are of course many other possible defects which could be causing the problem. Enter a follow-up post re the result so we can all learn from your experience. If my suggestion fails, I will be happy to see if I can help further. Remember to identify yourself. I look forward to hearing from you. Good luck.
