Noisy Hammer
by: Alfred

Dear John: If what you hear is clearly a 'clicking" sound from THAT KEY (physical), and not one from the keyboard SPEAKER/s (elctronic), it is possible that a small obstruction or dirt has become lodged between the end of the key and the keyboard itself. Use a can of compressed air or a VERY SOFT BRUSH to clear that area. Hold that key down for easier access. If no improvement results you can press a (very)small piece of BandAid at the offending spot to cushion the "click". I would advise no further action than the above.
Cover your keyboard when not in use. Hope this helps.

John, having the same problem with my P-80 and was wondering if you found a fix for your noisy key.
