plug in - keyboard is "on" info window works, but can't get sound -- need back batteries too? How get sound?

My dgx220 is doint that, but I put in batteries and it comes on and I can play it...I only have problems when I try to use the electrical power...maybe you could try the batteries...but I don't have the answer about the power otherwise. Good luck
