My yamaha keyboard makes no sound

My yamaha psr E403 does not produce sound and the LCD is lit but the functions don't show when the buttons are preesed. Please how can i solve this problem?

Dear Ani: 1) If you used a headphone before the problem appeared, did you leave its adaptor in the keyboard? TAKE THE ADAPTOR OUT and check if you get sound. The adaptor automatically cuts out the sound. 2) If its not the adaptor, press the last White key to your right WHILE TURNING THE KEYBOARD ON. This resets your keyboard to
playing condition. 3) If you wish to restore your keyboard to "Factory" condition, press the LAST WHITE KEY AND THE LAST THREE BLACK KEYS TO YOUR RIGHT WHILE TURNING THE KEYBOARD ON.
