My Yamaha CVP 405 LCD is dying.

My LCD screen seeme to be dying and I bought the piano from the Yamaha dealer in Scarborough April 2008. He is no longer in business and I've been in touch with a sound technician locally who is talking hundreds of pounds to get it fixed.He is a recommended digital piano technician. I read with interest that there seems to be a common problem with LCD screens and other owners under warranty are getting an updated piece of kit free of charge. How can I get help for an updated screen and is there any help Yahama can give to help meet the design problem and cost?

Same problem - bought cvp405 in scarborough about 4 years ago - supplier has ceased trading - estimate for repair £420 seems to me this is a design fault - have you made any progress with manufacturer?

Can anyone else help?
