my floppy drive in psr550 has gone

i have a yamaha psr 550 keyboard, now my floppy drive does not detect any floppy when inserts:so shoud i replace my floppy drive?or can i change into a nomal computer floppy drive?

The floppy went bad on my CVP-203. Turns out it was just one of those cheap Oriental no-names (No offense to Orientals). The local music store told me some rediculous price for a replacement. I work with computers and decided to dive in. I found the drive to be a standard internal pc floppy. Office Depot sold Sony drives for $25 each and they came with three faces: white, black and bone/beige. Installatin was simple and the black face fit nicely. I have two backup drives still in unopened boxes.

Other than wishing for more modern and larger media, my Clavinova is good to go.
