moving a keyboard/piano
by: Dick Rector

Hi Michelle,

Depending on what sort of move. Common sense on the first place! The best way always is in the original packing if you still have it.
If not, LAYERS of DUST-FREE bubble-plasic wrapped around and/or bedsheets and blankets, stuff like that. Make sure nothing rests on the key's or display. If you move by car take it if pos and not in a removal-van.
You don't have to worry about getting it out of tune if you move it in any position. It is digital and there are no strings.
If you move by air, have prof packers to take care of it and the transport. (DON'T forget an Insurance!!)

I know it is stressful but wish you a happy move...

Dick
