Motif to Mac Book (Garage Band)

I'm using a USB-Midi interface UX16 cable trying to get my Yamaha Motif 8 to play in Garage Band (macbook). It's not working. Is there something I need to do to program my motif?

Please help me right away. I have my yamaha motif 8 hooked up to my mac book. I'm trying to get it to play in Garage Band, but it's not working. What do I need to do?

FIRST YOU NEED TO GO TO THE YAMAHA WEBSITE, AND DOWN LOAD THE DRIVER WHICH IS THE ONE WITH THE NAME OF YOUR USB DEVISE.
THAT IS ALL YOU NEED.
