Mother Board problem

by Cyril
(Caloocal City )

Our keyboard is not working anymore, it was a bit affected by rain, would it be possible to replace the mother board alone? Would it work that way? Where could we buy that?

Our Yamaha Keyboard model is PSR E 330
thanks

PSR 330 Mother Board
by: Alfred

Dear Cyril: For what they are worth, following are some comments which might help you to arrive at a decision. 1)Even if you located one(maybe Yamaha Parts Dept.)installation of a new mother board probably will not work as rain most likely has affected other important circuit components of your unit. Furthermore the cost would likely be high, not to mention the time and labor you devote to opening the keyboard and re-assembling it(if you know how). 2) Not denegrating the features of your keyboard, you might be far better off bidding on a more modern unit with more features as offered on Ebay. Just make sure the description guarantees 100% working condition, with a Manual and a return option. (Nonsense from "an 800 lb.gorilla!?!?) Good luck!
