midi transfer to windows vista

my yamaha keyboard model is a 2006 ypg-625 and the manual only comes with directions on how to connect the device to a computer via midi chord if the windows software is windows 98/me or windows 2000 or windows xp. If i have windows vista, how do i connect my keyboard to the computer via midi chord?

Hi Kelsie,

Unless I'm mistaken, you need a driver.
Go to: WWW.GLOBAL.YAMAHA.COMP/DOWNLOAD/INDEX and find the correct driver.
