midi to mp3 - Yamaha PSR-S900

I have downloaded songs files (MIDI) from Yamaha site. They sound great on my PSR-S900. How do I make these files sound as good without my keyboard?

Two options.....
by: Coach4Music

Hi,

In order to convert your MIDI to MP3 you have two easy options.
1. Record your Yamaha line output to an external device and convert the recorded material to MP3 or
2. Take the MIDI-file import it to for example Reason, assign all the miditracks to samplers, export the whole song as a Wave, stereo interleaved, take that output file and convert with Wavelab or Soundforge or another program to MP3.
Good luck!

You can also use Audasity (free download). Go from your headset jack on keyboard to line in on your computer. Audasity will record your midi song. Export (save) as a mp3 or wav file. Audasity also has a lot of functions that will enhance your songs.
