midi interface ub 16 and yamaha ypt - 220

I have bought a midi interface yamaha ub 16 to connect it with mij computer (laptop with windows 7 experience)I have installed the driver correctly. Downloaded from your site. The red ledlamp on te interface is on, but the green ledlamp only is working when I klick on the menu from connecting the usb.I used the demo software from fl-studio. It seems that on te keyboard something else must klicked on (I have 'local' on 'off'). Can you help me with this problem? During two weeks I am looking for a solution on the web. Some people say that you must close the webcam. I also did. Please can you give me the solution?
