Method of playing a keyboard

by Bob
(Griffith, IN)

I am almost seventy-five and have been playing piano seemingly forever. When I was in my teens I was introduced to using guitar music which is just chords and lyrics. This became second nature and for years it was the only way I ever played.

I don't know exactly how I do it, but playing the chords with my left hand the melody seems to come almost automatically with my right hand just reading the lyrics. This method of playing really became near perfection the first time I tried a keyboard. I've never found anyone else that plays this way and don't know if anyone else does.

I've taken over 300 old songs or songs I like and transposed them into the keys of C, F or G for simplicity in playing. If anyone else plays this way and may be interested, I'd be glad to send whatever songs they might like at no charge.

Let me know.
