WANTED FILM COMPOSER/PRODUCER or KEYBOARDIST for dark haunted jazz/sultry big band/futuristic indutsrial/tribal/symphony
. Please read this ad carefully it states who we are and what we seek .
We bring a lot to the table~ our focused and clear musical vision will be used as blueprints and guidelines with which to build the second CD. The right revolutionary and innovative producer and co-composer or keyboardist will be contributing their own ideas to this as well. The right composer or keyboardist will be an equally important part of this band.We have many songs in rough draft, but songs from scratch, written together with a third party are expected.
What we are looking for:
A REVOLUTIONARY. An INNOVATOR. A FILM lover - since our music is very visual. A fearless and eclectic composer or keyboardist to , co-compose.
whether you are an up and coming "unknown" or a well known -whatever age , male or female
As a composer or Keyboardist you
- Must have a diverse knowledge and passion for MANY different music styles.
- Must have excellent song arrangement and organization skills. - Must be driven , focused and drug free.
- Must have a respectable amount of time able to dedicate to keep a project like this progressing.
- Must be based in Los Angeles. - This is NOT for those who feel music is a "hobby". Along with your regular 9-5 job-this music will need to be a priority in your life.
IF you have a full recording system and have expierence engineering a band that is a huge plus The following genres are elements that we incorporate into our songs. They are all equally important to the overall sound. However, if you are more familiar with one or two of the genres than the others, it is okay - as long as you are interested in mastering the styles with which you are less familiar and adding them to your repertoire.We do not expect anyone to have one song that incorporates all these styles as it has never been done but we desire to find some one who is familiar with and enjoys all these styles as they will all be incorporated into what we create Please send mp3's that showcase the following :
- Big band
- Vintage 1930's/40's haunted, seductive , torch song. blues and jazz.
- Industrial/electronica (blade runner-esque, electro, dark-wave, ebm).
- Classical symphonic (cello, violin, harp, harpsichord, flute).
- Ethnic world (Indian, African, Asian, Celtic: fiddle, bagpipes, sitar).
- Tribal. militant, native drums
*ALL* of those styles are of equal importance in this musical dream.
Our three favorite composers are: Bear McCreary, Mark Snow and Robert Rodriguez
we encourage all musicians to never allow money and getting paid or not paid stop them from being a part of creating music that is destined to be monumental and inspiring Surely you have noticed that our world is at its worst and this is reflected tenfold in the arts specifically music.Never have we bared witnessed to such mediocre to such shamefully untalented mass popular music than in this decade,and the very root of this is artists allowing their creating to be determined by money IF a creation is truly outstanding and the creators have poured their hearts into it and challenged themselves and each other than great financial success shall follow. we are not seeking any hired musicians. This is an equal collaboration with a focused musical vision we don't expect you to pay us for our time and talent, so don't expect us to pay you. Any money made will be split equally, as will rights to songs and credits. There is no desire to be an underground band/project here. Success is sought and expected. Films are the main focus, as well as many other areas such a live performance. The investment in time now will reap immediate creative fulfillment and financial rewards shall follow . Thank you.
