Keyboard overheating

I put the Yamaha keyboard on the rug so the kids could play with it and not knock the stand over. It melted the little feet underneath into our rug. What is the deal??

Melted Keyboard Legs

The keyboard legs on my keyboard melted and ruined my wall to wall bedroom carpet. I let my grandson play it on the floor in my room. Is Yamaha interested in this kind of information? I see that I am not the only one with this problem. Hey, Yamaha, any ideas how to repair the damage your product caused me?

Sticky feet on keyboard NEW

I took my Yamaha keyboard off its stand and put it on the back seat of my car. The rubber feet had melted and put sticky gunge on the seat which I cannot remove. O tried petrol and acetone without success. I cannot get the old rubber off the keyboard either. Very annoyed as the keyboard was never near a heater or other environmental hazard. Any suggestions?
