Dear Ed: I'm no expert, but if your keyboard starts off well enough, then fails as you play, it could be an indication that some component in its circuitry opens/changes value when current is flowing through it. Normally such problems are best handled by a qualified service technician, and you should consider this action, unless some fellow-Forum-participant comes up with a fix. Good luck.
