key board comes on

my keyboard comes on the screen lights up but when i press any of the buttons nothing happens its a yamaha psr 280 i only got it os im new to all this .any help thanks a lot

I've got the same,
I'm almost sure the problem lies in the adapter.
You should connect it to 10-12 volt, not 24 volt with a usual adapter.

CLEANING PROBLEM

I cleaned my psr 2100 and after everything the keypads are not on while every other part is working can anybody help?

If you have it plug to an external source such as an amp or computer, make sure that the cords are in the right things, don't put and amp cord in the sustain output.
