Internet Connection/Computer to Keyboard Connection

i HAVE TRIED CONNECTING MY PSR 3000 DIRECT TO THE INTERNET BUT KEEP GETTING THE MESSAGE ... NO IP ADDRESS RECOGNISED, I AM CONNECTING FROM ' TO HOST' SKT ON KEYBOARD TO ETHERNET TYPE SKT ON MY MODEM.. AM I DOING IT WRONG PLEASE?

I HAVE ALSO TRIED CONNECTING THE KEYBOARD TO MY COMPUTER....' TO HOST ' TO 'USB IN' ON COMPUTER THE COMPUTER BLEEPS AS IF IT RECOGNISES THE CONNECTION BUT NOTHNG ELES HAPPENS.
HELP. HELP. HELP. PLEASE

Dear Thomas: I do not know all the specs.regarding your unit. Do you have the Owner's Manual, and does it say anything about a CD Driver?? It is possible that the CD must first be fed to your computer, following which you proceed with the necessary patch cord and steps indicated in the manual. Please do the favor of posting a message in this Forum so other members and I can learn from your case. Thanks and good luck.
