input of drum sequence externally

by Jack Barde
(India)

Hi,

I have a PSR 2100. I use this keyboard onstage, and very often, run midi files.

I have a Roland R-8 drum machine that I'm very comfortable with as far as sequencing drums.

Can I replace the drum track in a midi file by playing the R-8 and recording the midi sequence information into the PSR 2100?

Also, is there a step edit mode in the PSR to correct or alter specific individual notes in a track?

EDITING THE NOTES
by: Anonymous

i HAVE SAME QUESTION BUT I HAVE ANSWER FOR YOUR SECOND QUESTION. yES NOTES CAN BE EDITED VERY EASILY BUT YOU REQUIRE SOME PRACTICE AND CONCENTRATION AS IT IS A TRICKY JOB.gO TO SONG CREATER AND THEN WITH THE HELP OF TABS GO FORWARDS AND SELECT THE TRACK WHICH YOU WANT TO EDIT FRON THE CHN BUTTON AND THEN SELECT THE EXACT NUMBER OF THE POSITION OF THE WRONG NOTE AND THEN BRING THE HORIZONTAL LINE OVER THE NOTE AND PLAY THE EXACT NOTE AND THEN SAVE.
