I would like to replace the diskette unit for a cd or dvd unit

is it possible to install a cd or dvd unit instead the actual diskette in a Clavinova CVP 207 ?

USB instead of floppydrive

Hi Armando,

Sorry, No is the first answer, CD, dvd or harddrive is NOT possible because the electronics in the keyboard are simply not up to it.
But it is possible to change the floppydrive for an USB-floppy-emulator that holds the equivalent of max 100 floppies on a small USB-stick.
If you are interested send me your email-address and I will send you all the info in a zipfile and where you can get it.
BE WARNED!! They are also offered on Ebay but you need one with a modification (an extra switch) for use in a kboard so most of these DON'T work.
