I have a Yamaha PSR260

And it wont turn on. I have the one major plug plugged into the outlet.. and it wont turn on.

It has a batteries slot? Would they work fine?

Dear Amanda: Try the following; Plug a household lamp into the same outlet and check if the light turns on. If it does, your Adaptor could be defective. Next try plugging the Adaptor into another outlet elsewhere and check if your keyboard works. If it does, the first outlet is defective. If it does not work, the Adaptor may be defective. Also, does your keyboard use batteries as an alternate source of power? If the keyboard works with the batteries the likelihood is that there's nothing wrong with it. If,however, the keyboard does not work, you may have a more serious problem requiring the help of a professional. Hope this helps.
