how to work the microphone in psr 2100

Hai i have a psr 2100,recently bought on e-bay.How do we work the microphone on it.do i need a amplifier for that.i have done all what says on it,but nothing happening.

Hi first of all check your microphone on some other amp or taperecorder. If the mike is ok then connect it at the back of psr 2100 then see that the switch for the mike is on and then see if the volume in the balance view is appropriate then adjust the volume and sing. There are many things which can be done for this and also see in the mixer mode if the volume is on or not,this must then work. No amp is required.Some Go to mic setting by pressing the direct button and mic setting button and see if the mic switch is on.
