How to Split the Yamaha MOTIF XS8

I want to know how do u do a split on the motif xs8? I need bass guitar on side then piano on the company

Dear Chris: I'm not familiar with the Motifr XS8.
What follows relates to Yamaha's PSR series, and your unit MAY have similar features you may wish to check. 1) You know there are two "splits", one being the Split Point for Accomp, the other for playing TWO DIFFERENT INSTRUMENTS, one on the left and the other on the right side of the keyboard. 2) Your unit probably has a FUNCTION
SELECTOR which you probably have to use to access
