Use the 16 stored memory settings. It turns out to be a lot of work but if you want to have the correct volume levels (balance) that's the only way to do it. The database is OK but you will find that if you switch to a different voice the volume is no longer correct - find the 16 settings you want to play your repertoire and store them (also write them down). Then you will be ready to entertain your family (or girlfriend)

Yamaha YPT-410

Dear John,

I looked up your keyboard online and according to the specifications the YPT-410 has a lot of pre-programmed accompaniment styles. I've been a professional musician (vocalist/piano/guitar) for over 30 years and Yamaha has the most user friendly keyboards. I use mine for my gigs with the accompaniment styles all the time. Just choose the one you want and the keyboard will play the chords with the proper instruments and drums. No programming is necessary. If you're talking about sequencing then that's something else. Good luck!
