How to interface Yamaha CLP 840 Clavinova with my Mac?

I have a CLP 840 which used to interface just fine with my Mac G-Book. Recently I bought a new IMAC and cannot get my piano to interface with it. My new computer has an Intel processor. Why can't I get it to interface?

Similar Problem with 340

Like you I have problems connecting my Clavinova to my MacPro. I have no problem in connecting other MIDI devices to my MacPro so I can only guess that the fault lies in the Clav to Mac route. In the meantime I will try to connect using an M-Audio MIDI to USB converter and see if this will work. Hope you and I can get this solved.

Same problem with 2011 MacBook Air to Clavinova CLP-840, even after downloading Yamaha's latest midi driver (version 1.3.1)
