How do you make a YAMAHA PSRE223 keyboard switch on?

For some reason, my YAMAHA PSRE223 keyboard suddenly went dead.
It wont switch on, I don't know whether its the plug or the keyboard itself.
Anyone have any suggestions at all?

My psr e323 yamaha key board is not switching on when i connect the power cable but its ok when i put batteries. A month old it is. Anyone who could help will be highly appreciated. Cheers!
