How do I control Logic Pro with my Yamaha CP 300?

I recently bought a CP 300 and want to use it to control Logic Pro and Finale 09 via the USB port. Can someone walk me though how to do this? I thought that I just plugged it in and it would work. I am using a Mac Book pro (snow leopard).

need the usb driver from Yamaha

I thought that it would be plug-n-play like my old M-Audio ProKeys 88. Yamaha usb driver required (and the Midi Out to be turned on when composing.
