Recorded songs sound different.
by: Dick Rector

Hi Ronnie,

Your keyboard safes the files as a midi 0 type and your gm-soundcard looks for midi 1 type.
Unless you have a special soundcard what can read both types, the drumchannels (normally 9 and 10) will sound quite often like a one tone and out of tune piano.
Don't worry, if you songs still sound ok on the keyboard, your drums are still there.

You can download for free from: psrtutorial.com the program midiplayer (Full version and latest update you need!) made by Michael Bedesem. When you run your files trough this great program it will change the miditype so they sound normal on the keyboard because it can handle both types AND the computer.
Give feedback please if this answers the question and solves the problem.

Regards
Dick
