half of screen not working, sometimes!?

Sometimes the screen on my yamaha ypg 625 flickers

and sometimes it dosen't work.
We have had it about a year and a half, how long is
the warrenty?

This model was introduced in 2007. Everything worked fine until early 2020. Screen became unreliable, losing half the display, then come back, then repeat the cycle, until it now shows only the left half. Repairs at dealer/shops quoted @ $3-$400 Canadian dollars. Only experienced techs should attempt the work.

I found some advise by Shandy1 about cleaning LCD screen contacts, but did not try it yet. Just Google for "Yamaha DGX-620 blank screen or screen with vertical lines" (www.fixya.com/support/t2651538-yamaha_dgx_620_blank_screen_or_screen)

I have had my piano plugged into multiple homes, due to recently moving, and the screen continues to be blank on the left half. I have been greatly disappointed with Yamaha and their customer service. I will not be purchasing Yamaha products again. When I called, all they would do was refer me to repair specialists in the area, even though my piano is only 14 months old.

I think it depends on quality of power supply. I had interferences from outside power generator last summer and only half of the screen was working at that time, it was gone after generator was changed to the regular power grid.
Or maybe better blame this defect on the lost quality of Yamaha keyboards and China part suppliers? They probably outsourced their customer support too, because it was absolutely useless in this case.
