Foot Pedal Port Loose

My foot pedals are not working. I thought it was a bad cable. I contacted Yamaha and they mailed me a new cable. wen I went to plug the new cable into the back of the keyboard I noticed the port was extremely loose. I compared it to the other ports and all of them were very firm. I managed to plug it in and the pedals are still not working. Took the top off the piano and my fears were confirmed. the little silver box that is the port for the foot cable is very loose on the board. How can I repair this?
